English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC)

The English Language Proficiency Assessment for California (ELPAC) is a state language assessment that measures the development of English language acquisition. This test is accessible to students grades TK-12 whose home language is not English. This assessment tracks a students language acquisition through listening, speaking, reading and writing and aligns with California Common Core.

​La Evaluación del dominio del idioma inglés de California (ELPAC) es una evaluación estatal del idioma que mide el desarrollo de la adquisición del idioma inglés. Esta prueba es accesible para estudiantes de los grados TK-12 cuyo idioma del hogar no es el inglés. Esta evaluación hace un seguimiento de la adquisición del lenguaje de un estudiante a través de escuchar, hablar, leer y escribir y se alinea con los estándares básicos comunes de California.
